Robust construction and innovative technology ensure accurate and consistent results for testing in a variety of industries.
Testing Limits. Elevating Quality.

Technical properties

Test frame
The test frames, designed as a 2- or 4-column construction depending on the nominal force, are characterised by maximum machine rigidity and are therefore ideally suited for static and, in particular, dynamic tests.
Drive types
The most suitable drive types are used depending on the individual testing requirements of our customers. In addition to the desired nominal force and the required dynamics, aspects such as component behaviour and ambient conditions also determine the selection of the right drive.

Performance
With servo-pneumatic, servo-electric or servo-hydraulic drive concepts, we cover a wide range of requirements. The nominal forces range from 1 kN to 50 kN, the test frequencies are a maximum of 100 Hz.
Sensors
DYNA-MESS testing machines are equipped with high-precision force and displacement measurement as standard. Additional measuring systems can be easily integrated.

FAQs about DYNA-MESS table-top testing machines
What are DYNA-MESS table-top testing machines?
Table-top testing machines are compact, bench-mountable test stands for tensile, compression and bending tests on materials, components and parts. They are highly flexible and easy to use and, thanks to their robust construction, deliver precise, reproducible results – ideal for the laboratory, quality assurance and research.
Which types of tests are table-top machines suitable for?
Depending on the configuration, both static and dynamic tests are possible – such as tensile, compression and bending tests as well as cyclic fatigue and endurance tests. The high stiffness of the 2- or 4-column load frames makes them particularly well suited to dynamic tests at high frequencies.
Which drive types are available?
Depending on the testing requirements, servo-hydraulic, servo-pneumatic or servo-electric drives are used. Besides the nominal force and the required dynamics, the behaviour of the specimen and the ambient conditions determine the ideal drive type.
Why is the servo-pneumatic drive so attractive for table-top machines?
The servo-pneumatic drive reaches test frequencies of up to 35 Hz at test forces of up to 20 kN and offers control quality almost identical to hydraulic systems – at significantly lower operating costs and faster amortisation. Especially in the compact force range of table-top machines, it is therefore often the most economical solution for dynamic testing.
Which standards are covered?
Table-top testing machines support tests according to ISO 7500-1 (force-measurement system) and ISO 14801 (dental implants) as well as the ASTM standards F1717 (spinal implant constructs), F2077 (intervertebral body fusion devices), F382 (metallic bone plates, four-point bending) and F2193 (components for spinal systems). Further standards are implemented on a customer-specific basis.
Which services does DYNA-MESS offer?
DYNA-MESS provides comprehensive services: calibration, maintenance, repair, modernisation, accessories and user training for DYNA-MESS test systems.
