What are custom special testing machines?
Custom special testing machines are specially designed test systems developed for particular testing tasks that cannot be solved with standard machines. They comprise both special mechanical designs and tailor-made software solutions.
How is such a special testing machine realised?
The process runs from concept development through engineering and manufacturing to commissioning and ready-to-operate handover at the customer’s site. Thanks to in-house software development, DYNA-MESS can flexibly adapt the range of functions, user interfaces and evaluations to customer requirements.
For which applications are there example systems?
Examples include testing machines for manhole covers (a gully-cover testing machine) for compression tests to EN 124-1, strip-tension systems for tribological investigations and systems for dynamic testing on steel specimens up to 5 MN and 10 Hz. Further applications include test rigs for hydraulic axle-guide bearings of rail vehicles, testing of pantographs and trailer drawbar testers to ECE R55.
What technical features can these systems have?
The special systems can include integrated hydraulic power units, automatic sliding tables, semi-automated specimen handling, laser displacement measurement systems and complex multi-axis loading with phase control. High forces, dynamic loads and special measurement and control technology (for example for pulsating-load tests) are also possible.
